Single-day private excursions from wherever you are staying
Not everyone wants a two-week circuit. If you are on a beach holiday, a stopover, or a business trip with a spare day, a private day tour gets you to one good thing and back without the logistics. We run them from Colombo, Negombo, Kandy, Sigiriya and the south coast, and the vehicle is yours for the day rather than for a fixed route.

Prices are per vehicle, not per person, and are confirmed in writing before you travel. Fuel, expressway tolls and government taxes are included.
The most requested day trips
Sigiriya and Dambulla from Colombo or Negombo - a long day (leave around 4.30am) but entirely doable, and you climb before the heat. Kandy from Colombo - temple, botanical gardens and a cultural show, back by evening.
Pinnawala and a spice garden - a half day from Kandy or Negombo, and the obvious add-on to an airport transfer. Galle Fort and a south-coast beach from Colombo, on the expressway. Udawalawe safari from the south coast for near-certain elephants.
Stopover tours
Long layovers at CMB are common on Middle East and Asian routings. If you have eight hours or more between flights, we can collect you from the terminal, run a Negombo or Colombo tour, and have you back with time to spare. We track the onward flight as well as the inbound one.

Yes. It is a long day - leaving around 4.30am gets you to the rock for the 7am opening, before the heat and the crowds - and you would normally add Dambulla on the way back. Expect 12-14 hours door to door.
Yes. With eight hours or more between flights we can collect you from the terminal, tour Negombo or Colombo and return you in good time. We track both your inbound and onward flights.
From USD 60 for a sedan, USD 80 for a mini van and USD 100 for a high-roof van, per vehicle for a full day including fuel, tolls and taxes. Entrance fees are extra and paid at cost.
